Roi Poranne is a post-doctoral fellow at the Interactive Geometry Lab of ETH Zurich under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Olga Sorkine-Hornung. Prior to that, he was a post-doctoral fellow in Dr. Yaron Lipman’s group in the Applied Mathematics & Computer Science Department at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot, Israel. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics in 2008 and his PhD in Computer Science in 2013, both from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, in Haifa. His research interests include the interactive modeling and deformation of 2D and 3D geometries, architectural geometry, shape analysis and matching as well as geometric processing in general.
