Maximilian Brunner is a PhD candidate at the Autonomous Systems Lab (ASL) at ETH Zurich. He focuses on the control of multicopters, especially in the field of physical interaction with their environment.
He graduated with a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH in 2017. During his studies, he focused on optimal control and path planning of both aerial and ground vehicles. During that time he also spent one year working in automotive and aerospace industry, and one semester writing his master thesis at UC Berkeley.
In summer 2018 he joined the NCCR Digital Fabrication. His goal is to support on-site fabrication with concrete with the help of autonomous drones.
