Julien Gamerro is a civil engineer passionate about woodworking. After having received an A-level in science he worked with the Compagnons du Tour de France to learn the carpentry trade. This atypical path has led him to continue his studies in timber industries. He graduated with a Master in Engineering Sciences of the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, France, and also acquired a Master in Business Administration of the University of Lorraine. Julien Gamerro is specialised in timber construction. He has been part of the NCCR Digital Fabrication as a PhD researcher at the Laboratory of Timber Construction (IBOIS) at EPF Lausanne since November 2017.
