Daniel Hall is Professor of Innovative and Industrial Construction at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. His research finds systemic and radical innovations like digital fabrication require the construction industry to embrace new interdisciplinary organisational models. He is working on industry 4.0 platforms for mass-customised buildings, digital supply chains to streamline design-to-fabrication processes, and new business models for digital fabrication technologies. Daniel Hall is passionate about entrepreneurship and technology transfer for the construction industry and has advised startup companies since 2014 as the Founder and Lead of the Stanford Industrialised Construction Forum. Daniel Hall received his doctoral degree in civil and environmental engineering from Stanford University, USA, in 2017. In June 2018 he joined the NCCR Digital Fabrication as an associated investigator.
