Cristián Calvo Barentin
Cristián Calvo Barentin holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Chile. He co-founded an electronics development firm, where he worked as an interaction designer. They developed several electronic solutions for important companies in Chile and Colombia. He also worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, where he was responsible for the introduction of industrial robot arms in an architectural design studio, a novelty for South America. His work focuses on the physical modelling of masonry vault collapse and bending-active structural systems with the use of force-sensitive robotic arms.
