Aryan Rezaei Rad

Aryan Rezaei Rad got his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2012 from the University of Guilan, Iran, and his master’s degree in structural and earthquake engineering 2015 from the Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Aryan Rezaei Rad has enjoyed the experience of a graduate research assistantship which offered him the chance to participate in collaborative research work as well as the experience of a teaching assistantship in nonlinear structural analysis, structural reliability and structural design. His fields of interest are nonlinear structural analysis, numerical simulation of structural systems using FE analysis software, computer programming, earthquake engineering as well as structural dynamics, risk evaluation of structures and structural reliability engineering. Currently, Aryan Rezaei Rad is a PhD researcher at EPF Lausanne where he works on the design of timber structures. He joined the NCCR Digital Fabrication in June 2016.
