Alexander Nikolas Walzer

Alexander Nikolas Walzer is a Vienna-native, half-greek architect and researcher with a strong interest in digital fabrication, rapid prototyping and computational design. He was educated in Austria, Italy, Spain and Australia where he studied under Theodore Spyropoulos, Francois Roche, Neil Gershenfield, Matias del Campo and Roland Snooks. He gained work experience at the Fab Lab Barcelona, Spain, as well as at Kokkugia Melbourne, Australia, and holds a bachelor degree in architecture from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Moreover, he participated in several courses, workshops, conferences and artist residencies. Since January 2016 he pursues an internship at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication of ETH Zurich and at the NCCR Digital Fabrication within which he works on the research project “Mesh Mould”.
