The first students of the new Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) ETH in Architecture and Digital Fabrication were welcomed at ETH Zurich, Hönggerberg on September 14th, 2015. During the next months, the group of 17 students from Europe, Asia, South America and the USA will focus on additive fabrication and assembly processes with the construction material wood. The robotic prefabrication and set-up of a minimal living unit on the campus Hönggerberg will be one of the programme highlights.

The MAS is the main education platform of the NCCR Digital Fabrication. The programme is in intense exchange with the interdisciplinary research lead at the NCCR. The MAS is conducted by Gramazio Kohler Research at ETH Zurich. The academic year 2015/16 will be lead in close collaboration with the BLOCK Research Group and the Chair of Sustainable Construction.
