The NCCR Digital Fabrication’s organisational structure aims at promoting transparency, fostering collaboration as well as facilitating communications both internally and with external partners.
The NCCR Digital Fabrication is lead by the Direction which is composed of the NCCR Director and NCCR Deputy Director. In its endeavours, the Direction is directly supported by the Management Team which itself is guided by the Managing Director. The Direction additionally gets actively supported by the Advisory Board which is constituted with external representatives from key areas in the construction sector. Besides the Advisory Board, the Direction furthermore maintains direct exchange with two other Consulting Bodies: the Steering Committee and the KTT Commission. The Steering Committee has the role of an internal strategy group. The KTT Commission deals with all matters of Knowledge and Technology Transfer.
Each year, the NCCR Digital Fabrication gets evaluated by the external Review Panel which is made up of nominated international experts from academia and industry.
In terms of its key spheres of activities, the NCCR Digital Fabrication is divided into three areas: research, education and transfer.
